I breathe new life into discarded items from my daily life by integrating them. The transient and mundane objects, manufactured for a specific purpose, discarded and disintegrating after a short life, take new shapes and identities. There is an implied valuing of the past and honoring of the present in the way I choose found objects and give a new life by juxtaposing and manipulating unlikely forms to imbue new meanings.
